Coat Hanger DIY

I have been wanting a coat hanger for a while from CB2, but I cant ever buy it because there are other essential furniture I need to get before that. So, finally I went to good will amd found a perfectly simple, light wood, coat hanger. I hurried to home depot and got a flat black can of paint and a small roller, along with a small brush. It was so easy to make and it look pretty similar to the one I wanted.

Fire Walker

           A week ago I had one of the greatest experiences of my life so far. I went to a convention, I didn't know what it was about I was kind of dragged by my mom, but all I can say now to her is thank you! It was amazing, the whole day he was giving us all of his energy, he asked us to dance yell, laugh, Then by the end of the night he kept training us mentally to walk on fire. He talked about walking on fire the whole day but I though he meant in metaphor, but no he meant it literally. So he goes on telling us to think about the finish not about the coals, and to continually repeat "cool moss". 

Finally he tells us to remove our shoes, walk outside (and we did), to where the hot coals were. I, for some reason still didn't believe I was going to walk on hot coals, it was so crowded, six thousand people were outside making line to walk, until I saw the person in front of me go on the coals, and almost no one behind me meaning I was one of the last ones to go. My turn comes around, I see the coals, which was the first thing Anthony told us not to do, because that creates fear inside of us, but there I go screaming "cool moss" and I turn to a lady next to me and I say "No I can't" and she told me "Yes, you can, this is yours own it", I looked up into the stars started to move my feet on to the hot coals, and walked calmly and directly just like Anthony said. I got to the end and two people caught me and spray some water on my feet, they said "You did it, no go celebrate!", and I started to laugh I couldn't believe it, I walked on fire, and all the people were so encouraging. Little kids from 10 years old to older people about 80 years old were walking on the fire. 

So now I am a Fire Walker!

Merry Xmas!

I hope you all had a beautiful Xmas, and ate amazing food. My Christmas was full of yummy food, and the people that I love the most. Now its time to create my list of goals for the new year and what I accomplished this past year.

The Improvements!

I have recently been trying to add things to Andrew and my apartment. Lately I have been finding things on the street in perfect condition! So here are some updates to my home.

I got that Polaroid camera because I thought it was really cool for about $10 at a thrift store, it doesnt work because the film is not produced anymore, I searched every where for it, but it looks good on my wall. The photo around it are actually post cards I have collected from art shows and art museums Ive been to. And the little heart I got from Ikea!

The Little present under the tree is a ceramic "present" I found on the street, it is in perfect condition! The Letters "Merry Christmas" I printed with colorful paper. 

The Flower I got from Ikea along with the flowers, The Book was given to me you can get it at Kitson, And The candle holder was a bottle of tequila I bought in Mexico that I though was really pretty and didn't want to throw away.

I found 2 of these little tea candle holders on the street so I put the next to my kitchen sink to add color to it.

I try to keep my kitchen as clean as possible, thats the only way I get inspired to cook!

Our Little Christmas Tree

We have officially set our little christmas tree. Andrew and I set it tonight and it was very fun. Apparently our theme is white and red. Happy Holidays!

Hair!

My favorite place to be is at the hair salon! I love love love going to the hair salon, getting my highlights, and hair cut. The place I go to is at this woman's house, Maya who cuts  my hair, she amazing, and Rosie (she doesn't live there) but she does my color, she has been doing my color for about 4 years now, she is too, amazing! The place is so relaxing because she built this little hair salon in the back part of her yard, its modern, and both of them are so nice, that is part of why I love getting my hair done.

Transparency

I love shoes! And lately I have been setting my eyes these babies from Nasty Gal. There are so many other shoes I want and Ill post as I go, but there's something awesome about these. I think its the transparent heel and strap. So when you walk it kind of looks like you only have an anklet. Hopefully I get these soon!
